Mobile Phones
Mobile phones come in all shapes and sizes. It most important that when choosing a mobile phone to use with HotSOS that it can receive and reply to email or multi-media messaging. Sprint (Nextel)Must be on the Nextel network with MMS messaging in order to receive and reply with HotSOS.

Similar requirements are necessary for AT&T and TMobile cellphones. Blackberries are a popular option due to their two way email and HotSOS2GO functionality.

HotSOS2GO and H2GO
If your team is ready for a more powerful tool on the floors, give them HotSOS2GO. Available for select Windows Mobile and Blackberry devices, HotSOS2GO notifies staff of new service orders and also allows them to view more information about the guest, room history, and manage pending work better. H2GO gives the ability to generate service orders and perform inspections (Requires QIC and only on Windows Mobile and Apple`s iPod Touch or iPhone). Another added functionality it REX our room expeditor software for guestroom attendants.

2 Way Pagers
2-way Pagers (US and N. America) are an easy and affordable options for many of our properties. Some companies such as USAMobility even offer special pricing for HotSOS customers. SkyTel also offer two-way pagers. The HUNTEC model supports dynamic canned responses with ST900 models.
Offering similar functionality to a two way pager, PEEK, provides two-way email and text messaging.

Onsite Pagers (one-way only) Global
Properties utilizing onsite one-way pagers require a 3rd party messaging application to convert HotSOS emails to TAP or other Protocol. Field-tested with following application: http://www.omnitrend.com/Products/ PageMasterEX2003/** IVR function in HotSOS may be used for replying to messages.
